About Me

I'm Casey, born in Arizona but raised in Nebraska, I'm a country girl at heart. I have a passion for photography, color, and design.  I'm currently going to school for Visual Publications and I finally feel I'm right where I'm meant to be.  When I'm not in school or working one of my two jobs, I enjoy taking photos, spending time with my fiancé and our three dogs{Lucky, Bella & Cooper}, crafting, running and working out, and rooting on the 'Skers during football season!  I'm a little bit obsessed with taking photos of landscapes of Nebraska, I think the views are spectacular around where I live.  I also enjoy creating logos, business cards, posters and pamphlets for businesses getting off the ground.  I love planning my wedding and can't wait until the big day is actually here!  I love taking photos and I love editing them even more!  Some feel editing pictures is wrong and they should just be left the way they were taken...not me!  I love manipulating photos and turning something great into something grand.  The editing to me, is the part where I can put my skills to use and show what I was aiming for when I took the photo.  You can't always get the perfect lighting you're aiming for and sometimes those blemishes break out right before your shoot...it's times like these that it doesn't matter completely what the shot looks like SOOC{straight out of camera}, but what it looks like when it's finished.  Since I'm fairly new to photography and blogging, I figured it would be a great way to get the ball rolling...kill two birds with one stone, if you will.  If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions please email me or leave a comment!  Thanks for stopping by my blog! :)
